Gardening is more fun when it's done with a group of fellow gardeners! Whether you have been gardening your whole life or have always wanted to try, we invite you to be a part of our interest and planning meeting taking place on April 11th. We want your input on how this garden will look and how it will operate!
Questions & Answers
Nope! Our hope for this garden is that it will be developed for and by our community. There is no expectation that anyone participating in the garden will join the church.
The interest meeting will be held in our church's fellowship hall, which is located behind the playground!
What will happen at this meeting?
This meeting is to gauge interest in the community to see what might suit the community best! At this meeting, we will get to know one another, talk about our hopes for such a garden, and even start planning what the garden might look like!
Are you going to bug me to come to church if I join?
While we would love for you to be a part of our ministry, we understand that some folks already have a church family, and we respect that. We also understand that some folks just aren't about that "church life." Still, we welcome you to be a part of this garden without judgment. We want this to be a space where everyone is welcome.
What if I don't know the first thing about gardening?
Sometimes the best way to learn is to do! However, we know gardening can be intimidating. That's why we hope to hold occasional classes about all things gardening. Plus, another beautiful thing about gardening in community is there is always someone who might be able to help you!
